In the game, participants had the opportunity to interact both in the real world and in the digital world of Minecraft. In real-life Piraeus, the “villain” of the game moved around using a motorbike, while through GPS, the same movement was mirrored in the digital Piraeus within Minecraft. The players&nbsp;attempted&nbsp;to locate the “villain” in the Minecraft world, who left behind traces (beacons) when passing through specific locations in the real world. In this way, an interactive experience was created that combined reality with the digital gaming environment.&nbsp;</p><p>This initiative aimed to raise awareness among young people regarding crime prevention and to strengthen collective responsibility through the use of technology.&nbsp;The innovation of the game lies in the fact that it was carried out simultaneously in both the physical and digital worlds, allowing participants to experience safety and prevention in an engaging and educational way. At the same time, the emergency points network was mapped, and crowd estimation systems were installed in public spaces, supporting a better understanding of citizen mobility during crisis situations. In addition, a civil protection support application was developed, through which citizens can receive immediate alerts, be informed about risk response guidelines, and report incidents, contributing to the effective coordination of competent services and improving safety in the city.&nbsp;</p></div></div></div><ul style="margin-bottom:11px;"><li><strong>Flood early warning system&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><div style="margin-left:48px;"><div style="display:flex; justify-content:space-between; align-items:flex-start; gap:24px; margin-bottom:20px; flex-wrap:wrap;"><div style="flex:1 1 500px; min-width:300px;"><p>Within the framework of the action, an integrated flood early warning system was implemented, aiming to enhance civil protection and improve stormwater management in the Municipality of Piraeus. NB-IoT stormwater level sensors were installed at selected points of the drainage network, monitoring water levels in real&nbsp;time&nbsp;and transmitting data to a central IoT platform. Through the platform, supervision, data analysis, and the generation of alerts and reports to&nbsp;the competent&nbsp;services are enabled, allowing the immediate detection of potential risks of overflow or overload of drainage infrastructure. The platform was developed using modern technologies to ensure accessibility via computers and mobile devices and provides tools for posting listings, searching for items, user communication, and transaction evaluation. At the same time, features such as personalized recommendations, statistical reports, and promotional tools were integrated, enabling effective content management and active citizen participation. The role of this center includes real-time monitoring of the city through smart infrastructures, aiming to minimize the time&nbsp;required&nbsp;to detect issues and&nbsp;optimize&nbsp;the coordination of their resolution.&nbsp;</p><p>For this purpose, a dedicated space was configured, capable of hosting a critical number of operators, providing them with&nbsp;appropriate working&nbsp;conditions, as well as interfaces and telecommunication tools for the application of Human Intelligence (HI) in city management.&nbsp;</p><p>The space is equipped with communication, supervision, and control systems for the city’s smart ecosystem, display equipment (e.g.&nbsp;screens, video walls), and monitoring equipment (e.g.&nbsp;workstations). In addition, network access has been provided to smart city infrastructures and the telephone network, as well as satellite internet connectivity, in case terrestrial communications encounter disruptions. Its&nbsp;objective&nbsp;is to minimize the time&nbsp;required&nbsp;to detect issues and&nbsp;optimize&nbsp;the coordination of their resolution, specifically in crisis situations. At the same time, the site also&nbsp;operates&nbsp;as a secondary operations center for the Civil Protection services of the Municipality of Piraeus.&nbsp;</p><p paraeid="{5ac48db4-8bd9-441c-9eb6-4c39f5aa7df8}{206}" paraid="25881421">For this purpose, the space was appropriately configured to accommodate a critical number of operators, providing suitable working conditions, as well as interfaces and telecommunication tools for human intervention in city management.&nbsp;</p></li></ol><p><img src="/documents/20124/439223/Picture22.jpg/ab6cf89a-9cc9-e812-6d85-f975080dd5d2?t=1772023072857" style="width:50%;display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" /></p><ol start="3"><li><p><strong>Civil Protection and Security Policy Management System&nbsp;</strong></p><p paraeid="{5ac48db4-8bd9-441c-9eb6-4c39f5aa7df8}{230}" paraid="1454419911">An automated information system was developed for the operation of the Security and Civil Protection environment. It supports&nbsp;the registration, easy retrieval, and&nbsp;updating of&nbsp;plans and actions. In addition, it provides capabilities for modeling, analysis, and management of all operational plans, full&nbsp;parameterization&nbsp;and integration of operational requirements, as well as the simulation of potential incidents and&nbsp;subsequent&nbsp;actions, and the development and execution of specific simulation scenarios. It includes a unified database for the storage and management of all operational plans.&nbsp;</p><p paraeid="{5ac48db4-8bd9-441c-9eb6-4c39f5aa7df8}{236}" paraid="1398030229">Operational manuals for both the Operation and Coordination Center and the Disaster Recovery Site were developed. Their&nbsp;objective&nbsp;is the full documentation of operational procedures, both during normal operations and in times of crisis or disaster. These include detailed activation procedures, team&nbsp;structures&nbsp;and staffing requirements, as well as clearly defined roles and responsibilities of all involved parties. They&nbsp;constitute&nbsp;a key tool for supporting operational readiness and coordination of actions,&nbsp;in accordance with&nbsp;the established plans and organizational requirements.&nbsp;</p><p paraeid="{5ac48db4-8bd9-441c-9eb6-4c39f5aa7df8}{246}" paraid="1335538666">Pilot evacuation plans were prepared for sixty (60) Primary and Secondary Education facilities. For each school unit, the plans&nbsp;include:&nbsp;documentation of the existing situation, analysis of the specific requirements of each structure, definition of evacuation procedures, and the establishment of an Evacuation Coordination Team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities, among others. Για τρίτη χρονιά, η πόλη μας γίνεται σημείο αναφοράς για τον παγκόσμιο στίβο, φιλοξενώντας σπουδαίους αθλητές και προσφέροντας σε χιλιάδες πολίτες και επισκέπτες τη δυνατότητα να ζήσουν από κοντά μια μοναδική εμπειρία στην «καρδιά» της πόλης μας.  Αποτελεί ιδιαίτερη χαρά και τιμή για τον Πειραιά να φιλοξενεί για τρίτη χρονιά τον χρυσό Ολυμπιονίκη και παγκόσμιο πρωταθλητή Μίλτο Τεντόγλου, καθώς και σπουδαίους αθλητές από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Η παρουσία τους προσδίδει ξεχωριστή λάμψη στη διοργάνωση και αποτελεί την καλύτερη απόδειξη του κύρους που έχει αποκτήσει το Piraeus Street Long Jump. Συζητήσαμε θέματα κοινού ενδιαφέροντος, ενώ εξετάσαμε τη δυνατότητα φιλοξενίας στο Δημοτικό Θέατρο Πειραιά μιας παράστασης του Εθνικού Θεάτρου της Μολδαβίας.</p><p>Επιπλέον, συζητήσαμε τη συνδιοργάνωση εκδήλωσης στον Πειραιά, στο πλαίσιο της Ημέρας Ανεξαρτησίας της Μολδαβίας, καθώς και μια σειρά άλλων πρωτοβουλιών συνεργασίας.</p><p>Ο Πειραιάς είναι μια εξωστρεφής πόλη, με το μεγαλύτερο λιμάνι της χώρας, που επιδιώκει διαρκώς να αναπτύσσει σχέσεις και συνεργασίες με φορείς και πόλεις του εξωτερικού.
